What will a year of healthcare cost me?

Private hospital prices in Thailand vary a lot, by city and by kind of hospital. See a year of care at three kinds of hospital: with no hospital stay, with one common operation, and a heavy year.

Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Pattaya or Phuket: your report uses the city you choose.

  • ComfortableMid-range private hospitals≈ THB 127,000–251,000
  • PremiumHigher-cost private hospitals≈ THB 131,000–259,000

≈ estimated. Planning ranges, not quotes.

What will cover cost me, this year and in total to 80?

Health insurance gets more expensive as you get older, in steps. So the real cost is not this year’s price, but what you pay over the years. See both, at three levels of cover.

For new applicants over 75, your report shows no premium figures, because each insurer sets its terms case by case, after assessing your health. This is about new cover, not the renewal price of a policy you already hold.

Questions

Before you start

Is it really free?

Yes. The Quick Check is free. There is no payment or subscription required to receive your report.

Will it tell me which cover to buy?

No. It shows what care and cover cost at each level, so you can see the range for yourself. The choice of hospital, cover and insurer stays yours.

How soon will I get my report?

It is prepared as soon as you finish the questions. You can download it from the page, and it is emailed to you. The download works for 24 hours, so please keep the emailed copy.

I am over 75. Is it still useful?

Yes. The Quick Check is written for ages 50 to 99. For new applicants over 75 it shows no premium figures, because each insurer sets its terms case by case, after assessing your health. It shows what care can cost in your city, how many insurers still take new applicants at your age, and why the renewal terms of a policy you already hold matter.

Do you name insurers or hospitals?
